Combining Subject Matter Experts with domain specific application (industry dependant) and Business Engineers with a highly successful methodology we are able to architect and implement the most extensive, yet simple enterprise-wide solutions.
ESE has its roots in
Infomet, a company founded in 1985
that created the Infomet Methodology and Generic Business Model (GBM).
Infomet was bought by IBM in 1986 and became IBM’s Information Technology Consulting
Division.
It had a customer base of +/- 940 Blue Chip companies and taught the Infomet
Methodology in 13 countries in Europe, as well as the USA (as an IBM
subsidiary).
It grew to about 180 consultants in South Africa.
The Infomet shell was bought back from IBM and the company focused on Information Portal
Based solutions. It continued as System Methodologies t/a
Infomet SA and the Infomet Group was created in the UK.
System Methodologies t/a Infomet SA ceased operations in SA in 2019.
In 2019, Carl Koen obtained the rights to utilse and support all Infomet IP and started Elikhulu
Software
Engineering as a Sole Proprietary in 2020. He retained the services of
all Infomet contractors and resources.In 2021, Elikhulu Software Engineering was
registered with Takalani Tshitaka and Carl Koen as directors.
